We are Ed & Kathy Schmidt. A married-retired couple in NE Ohio. Very simply, we got bored and decided to turn a hobby into a business.
Our name affectionately came about because Ed would refer to Kathy as Mrs. McGillicuddy. Then in researching the name, we discovered it was Lucille Ball’s character maiden name. As a child, Kathy remembers people saying her Mother looked like Lucy and Kathy’s mother’s picture Is now their logo.
A little more research showed us that the real name of Lucy’s character-Mother, Mrs. MCGillicuddy was Kathy. So even though our name is not affiliated with the show, we have an appreciation for similarities.
From our skincare lotions for eczema and sensitive skin, to our soothing and gentle soaps, we have a large line of your needs and wants.
